An official report into the crash of an Airbus A-320 during an air show in France last month blames the accident on pilot error, according to French television. The Civil Aviation Board report on the June 26 crash, in which three people were killed, is to be handed to the Ministry of the Transport today. “We can confirm that the plane is cleared and the pilots, who flew too low and too slowly, are considered responsible for the catastrophe,” the television said, quoting the report. The accident, the first for the A-320, raised doubts about the high-tech plane’s safety.
