‘Oil Prices and the Gulf War’

The editorial writer’s conclusion about prices going back down at the end of the Iran-Iraq War was accurate; my only hope is that the writer did not miss the bigger picture. When the time for celebration comes at war’s end, I hope it will be based on a realization of saved lives and salvaged sanity, and not just lower oil prices.

No matter what any expert may say, nothing beneficial or positive ever results from warfare. What makes the world go around is cooperation, not corporation.
