On the Campaign Trail With Republican George Bush

Share

Just as in the last two presidential elections, the Democrats are again “united.” But also as before the Democratic candidate is from that party’s left-wing trying to masquerade as a moderate. When the public realizes that his record unlike his speeches is that of being soft on crime and against capital punishment, for more governmental control and bureaucracy not less, and for a weakened military while letting our allies fall to communism, then he too will be defeated.

While the Republicans are not perfect, the Democrats have their own sleaze with “Korea-gate,” Bert Lance and House Speaker Jim Wright, etc. Moderate Democrats, independents and Republicans want a better America, not a return to the “Carter years” of being an international doormat, abandoning allies, long gas lines, rising unemployment, high interest rates, increasing government and rising taxation.

If the public gets a chance to compare the actual records and policies of Dukakis to that of Bush, I predict a Republican victory in November.
