Wayne L.L. Campbell Simmons; Ontario Police Chief
Ontario Police Chief Wayne L. L. Campbell Simmons, 45, who was a member of the force for more than two decades. The chief held the post for almost two years after joining the department in 1965. Simmons also taught in the Administration of Justice program at Chaffee College. In Ontario on Wednesday of a heart attack following surgery to remove a lung tumor.
