Tustin Beats Emerald in Pony Regional

Nick Cantu pitched a a four-hitter as Tustin defeated Emerald of San Diego, 2-1, Friday in the winner’s bracket of the Pony League Southern California Regional in El Cajon.

Cantu struck out 11 and allowed only a fifth-inning run for the victory.

Tustin plays Fontana today at 4 p.m. in the winners’ bracket final.
