A psychologist or other professional who publishes his or her psychotherapeutic technique in a book or journal permits colleagues to criticize the methodology. Apparently, the “24-hour therapy” alluded to has not been professionally rebuked or repudiated. Thus, this form of psychotherapy appears to be within the outer margin of the accepted standard practice of psychotherapy.
