Burbank Increases Rates for Electricity
Increased electrical rates for Burbank residents and businesses will go into effect starting Oct. 1, city officials said Friday.
Public Service Director Ronald V. Stassi said residential rates will go up by 1.7%, or an average increase of 64 cents a month. Business rates will rise by 2.8%, an average of $9 per month, he said.
The rate increases were approved by the Burbank City Council earlier this week.
