Schroeder Helps U. S. to Water Polo Victory

DUISBURG, West Germany — The United States water polo team, sparked by a four-goal final quarter and two goals by team captain Terry Schroeder of Agoura Hills, defeated Romania, 7-4, on Thursday in an eight-nation tournament.
Greg Boyer also scored twice for the United States and ignited the fourth-quarter attack. Jeff Campbell, Alan Mouchawar and Mike Evans had one goal each.
The U. S., Yugoslavia and West Germany are tied for first place with five points each after three games.
