Hemet Woman Wins Lotto: $11.74 Million

A lucky Hemet woman hit all six numbers in the state lottery’s weekend Lotto game, winning $11.74 million, lottery officials said today.

The winning ticket, containing the numbers 10, 31, 17, 42, 49, and 2, was purchased by Lynette Mead, the lottery’s public information office said. Mead will receive $469,600 a year for 20 years, after federal taxes are deducted.
