Kids Pack in a Week of Art at ‘Camp’
About 75 Orange County children converged on the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana for its first Summer Art Camp of 1988.
Each day of the week, the youngsters received instruction in a different activity, including photography, ceramics and printmaking, according to Barney Malesky, the Bowers’ curator of education. “The whole week was just filled with kids,” he said. “It was fun.” The next art camp will be Aug. 22-26, Malesky said.
Interested parents can call (714) 972-1900 for more information about the program.
