Hawthorne Kiwanis Praise Coverage, Call Fair a Success

The coverage which your newspaper gave the 1988 Hawthorne Community Fair and Parade was very much appreciated and contributed to making this year’s fair even more successful than last year’s, which broke recent records.
As you know, the annual fair and parade are sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Hawthorne, and all profits are put into the Kiwanis Foundation to be used in community service projects benefiting high school scholarship funds, the American Field Service for foreign exchange students, Centinela Valley Child Guidance Clinic, South Bay Children’s Health Center and many youth sports activities, just to name a few.
Thank you again for your interest in our Fair and Parade and for the very fine coverage your newspaper gives to events in our community.
