Gulf Oil Slick Expected to Dissipate Eventually

GULFPORT, Miss. —
A light sheen of oil left by a ruptured barge in the Gulf of Mexico was drifting away from barrier islands on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and should eventually evaporate, the Coast Guard said Friday.
