Perhaps you’ve wondered “Where did Mariette Hartley disappear to?” after CBS News dropped her from its morning show. If you like Shakespeare, and you’re heading for New York sometime soon, you can see Hartley in the Bard’s fairly obscure “King John,” which Joseph Papp is producing in Central Park. After that, Hartley told the New York Daily News, “I’d like to see if there’s a musical brewing somewhere that might have a part for me. Yes, I can sing, too. Not great, but all right.”
