Chrysler Corp. is making plans for its first all-new line of family sedans in more than a decade to replace the aging K-car platform that helped it avert bankruptcy in the early 1980s, an industry report said. The new models, code named LH, would be closer in size to the No. 3 auto maker’s 1988 full-sized sedans under the Chrysler New Yorker and Dodge Dynasty nameplates, said Automotive News, a weekly industry publication. Chrysler is planning to build a sedan, coupe and luxury version of the LH series, which would debut for the 1993 model year.
