Investor Buys Into Cooper Life Sciences

A New York investor has acquired an 11.7% interest in Cooper Life Sciences Inc., according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Moses Marx owns 253,060 shares of the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company. United Equities Co., wholly owned by Marx, bought 12,557 shares of Cooper Life in August for $10.625 to $10.75 each.
