Long Beach : Water Rates to Drop a Cent
Long Beach water rates will decrease slightly Sept. 1. The cost of water will drop by 1 cent per 100 cubic feet--saving Long Beach customers more than $400,000 annually, according to Halcyon Ball, president of the Board of Water Commissioners. The adjustment reflects changes in the cost of water purchased from the Metropolitan Water District.
