Shultz Will Lead U.S. Delegation at Zia Rites

WASHINGTON —
Secretary of State George P. Shultz was named today to head the U.S. delegation to the funeral of Pakistan President Zia ul-Haq, killed Wednesday when his plane exploded.
The State Department said the U.S. delegation will include Undersecretary of State Michael H. Armacost and several members of Congress. The delegation is to leave for Islamabad late today.
