International air passenger traffic is expected to rise an average 7% annually until 1992, with Asia and the Pacific showing the fastest growth, an industry group said. This year, non-domestic traffic is likely to increase about 8% worldwide, and growth will taper off slightly but remain strong during the next four years, the International Air Transport Assn. said.
