A burglar who sometimes climbs into homes with no clothes on and climbs back out carrying wallets and purses is suspected in about 100 residential burglaries in the last 16 months, Fontana police said. “In several of (the crimes) he has been naked or partially clothed,” Sgt. Terry Holderness said. The man usually enters homes between 1 and 6 a.m. through an open rear window and takes purses and wallets. When he does wear clothes, they are usually dark outfits with tennis shoes, police said. No one has been harmed, and there has been no indication from the victims that the burglar was armed, Holderness said. Police urged residents to lock their doors and windows.
