JERUSALEM —
Israeli troops shot and wounded 13 Arabs today during a strike called to protest Israeli tax raids. The Palestinian guerrilla group led by Abu Nidal claimed responsibility for a bombing in the city of Haifa that injured 25 people.
A Palestinian also died of wounds suffered in a clash with troops a day earlier, bringing to 252 the Arab death toll in the eight-month rebellion in Israeli-occupied territories. Four Israelis have died.
