Hungarian Escapes to West on Hang Glider

VIENNA —
A Hungarian who was refused permission to join his family in the West flew into Austria on a homemade motorized hang-glider today, border police said.
The 36-year-old pilot, who landed near the village of Oberswart, told police his wife and daughter had been in Austria for a year.
