El Monte : Tanner Returns to Work

Assemblywoman Sally Tanner (D-El Monte) returned to the floor of the Assembly in Sacramento on Wednesday for the first time since undergoing breast cancer surgery July 20.
“I’m feeling great,” Tanner said. “I’ll be back in December to be sworn in (for a new term).” Tanner, who will be seeking her sixth term in the Nov. 8 election, has missed the final month of the legislative session except for her appearance Wednesday.
