Thai Premier Accepts Bid to Visit Vietnam

BANGKOK, Thailand —
Thai Prime Minister Chatichai Choonhaven, who says he wants to turn Indochina into a marketplace for Thai goods, has accepted an invitation to visit Vietnam, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Friday.
Vietnamese Foreign Minister Nguyen Co Thach extended the invitation during a meeting here with Chatichai, who said he will travel at a convenient date, the spokesman said.
