Long Island Rail Service Suspended After Accident

HUNTINGTON, N.Y. —
The Long Island Rail Road suspended service on trains east of Huntington on the Port Jefferson branch during Friday morning’s rush hour because of an earlier commuter train crash, a spokesman said. The commuter train slammed into a tractor-trailer truck carrying a bulldozer Thursday night, derailing four cars and injuring 18 people.
