AF Successfully Launches Trident Submarine Missile

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. —
A Trident 2 submarine missile carrying dummy warheads was successfully launched Saturday from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in the program’s 14th test flight, officials said. The launch of the missile was the first Trident 2 test since July 7, when a missile was destroyed on radio command after a malfunction.
