Four members of the Charlie Daniels Band escaped injury when the motor home they were leasing burst into flames on U.S. 101 about 40 miles north of Los Angeles. No one was injured, he said. “Just tell everybody we set them on fire in Ventura,” Tommy Crain, the band’s lead guitarist, told agent Alan Hopper of the William Morris Agency.
