‘It’s a Dog’s Life in Insurance’

Share

You publish clever self-serving essays by learned attorneys obfuscating the already widely misunderstood insurance pricing mechanism (“It’s a Dog’s Life in Insurance,” by Herb Hafif, Editorial Page, Aug. 27).

Let’s make it simple!

Lawyers, take some of your ill-gotten gains and buy insurance company stocks, take control of a couple of insurance companies, sell cheap broad coverage to the cities, day-care centers, and doctors and lawyers for professional liability. They will beat a path to your door.

Do it the good old American way! Put your money where your mouth is. Take those profits away from the insurance bosses and put it directly into the lawyers’ pockets where it belongs.
