‘It’s a Dog’s Life in Insurance’
California has over 800 multimillion-dollar liability insurance carriers. There are over 100,000 lawyers in California, 95,000 of them handle every type of law, but do not sue insurance companies. That leaves only 5,000 trial lawyers who work on behalf of consumers in a state of 25 million people, and it leaves “one barking dog.”
Hopefully, the public will hear the barking dog and wake up to what’s going on in California. Some interests in California don’t want anyone representing the consumer.
