Holiday Fireworks Blast Kills Illinois City Official

GRAYVILLE, Ill. —
An explosion killed a part-time city attorney who was helping set off fireworks as part of a Labor Day weekend celebration, officials said Monday. Grayville police and the state fire marshal’s office were investigating the cause of the explosion that killed Scott F. Broster on Sunday night.
