COLOR ORANGE COUNTY WHITE
Use any adjective you want to describe Orange County--suburban, wealthy, crowded. But the one that applies as much as any other is another color: white. The county’s population, 78% white in 1980, has grown progressively less so since then and will continue to do so. But current projections envision a population that in 1993 will still be overwhelmingly white. Here’s the city-by-city outlook:
