While one TV mogul’s fortunes rose, another’s--those of “Moonlighting” creator Glenn Gordon Caron--changed. ABC confirmed Thursday that Caron has stepped down as the show’s executive producer and will be involving himself in other projects. The production reins of “Moonlighting” will be held by Jay Daniels, the show’s co-executive producer. Daniels will now serve as sole executive producer of the show, which was known for its painstaking production tempo and frequent budget overruns. Caron’s feature film directing debut came earlier this summer with Warner Bros.’ “Clean and Sober,” starring Michael Keaton.
