Derailment Spills Chemical

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
Twenty-seven cars of a freight train derailed in a sparsely populated area Thursday, spilling a corrosive chemical and sending four police officers to a hospital with respiratory problems, authorities said. The cause of the derailment was under investigation.
