Reagan Names Rabbi to Alternate U.N. Post

President Reagan has appointed Rabbi Arthur Schneier of New York as an alternate U.S. representative to the U.N. General Assembly.
Schneier heads the Appeal of Conscience Foundation, an interfaith organization working for religious freedom around the world.
