Let’s not hear any more of this “physically” outmatched sort of thing vs. the Big Eight (or Big Two). Aside from the officials’ mistake on that phantom touchdown call in favor of Nebraska, the only item that stemmed a total “massacre” was Terry Donahue’s sense of humanity and ultra-conservative “sit-on-the-lead” philosophy. For this, Tom Osborne should be grateful.
