Brady Sworn In as Treasury Secretary

WASHINGTON —
Nicholas F. Brady was sworn in Friday as the nation’s 68th Treasury secretary, pledging that his agency will “do its homework” to support President Reagan’s economic policies.
Brady succeeds James A. Baker III, who left the Treasury Department last month to become chairman of George Bush’s presidential campaign.
