Apple Computer Inc. introduced an entry-level computer called the IIc Plus, which chairman and chief executive John Sculley hailed as bringing strong growth to the company’s Apple II line. The new model is three times faster and less expensive than the Apple IIc, Apple’s entry-level computer. Priced at $675 to $1,099, and with five times the storage capacity of earlier models. The IIc Plus has been designed primarily for family education, productivity and entertainment by first-time computer buyers.
