A Hungarian sculptor, Peter Wolf Toth, has headed north with his “Trail of the Whispering Giants.” He just unveiled his first Canadian sculpture in the series of works symbolizing injustices suffered by North American Indians at the hands of European settlers. Already finished with works in all 50 United States, Toth says he will create 11 more statues, one each for Canada’s 10 provinces and two territories. Toth made his remarks at the unveiling of his sculpture at North Bay, Ontario, a special tribute to the Ojibway tribe.
