Second-round draft pick Tom Garrick, a 6-foot 2-inch guard from the University of Rhode Island, and 7 free agents have been invited to the Clippers’ training camp, which will begin Oct. 7 at Cal Poly Pomona.

The free agents are Fred Cofield, Grant Gondrezick, Juden Smith, Tony Costner, Alex Stivrins, Steve Ledesma and Scott Wilke.

The Clippers will also conduct auditions for cheerleaders at the Coliseum Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Applicants must be 18 or older. No spectators will be allowed.
