Viewers will hear the latest information about UFOs during a two-hour live special to be aired in Los Angeles on KTLA, Channel 5, at 8 p.m. Oct. 14. Hosted by Mike Farrell, “UFO Cover Up? . . . Live” will present a panel of speakers who will give evidence both for and against the existence of UFOs. Panel members include Bruce Maccabee, a Navy research physicist and American University professor; Richard Haines, a Stanford University consultant; James Oberg, an expert in Mission Control Center operations and a member of the Space Shuttle Program in Houston, and Lynn Griffiths, program manager of Advance Missions and Special Projects for NASA. The program will be shot in Washington and on location wherever UFO sightings have taken place. Recent photographs and footage from home movies taken during possible UFO sightings will be shown.
