George Bush and Pearl Harbor Day
Sept. 7, 1988, a date which will live in comedy, the U.S. was suddenly and deliberately shocked by the unbounding historical ignorance of Bush. We were at peace with that candidate, looking toward his possible election on Nov. 8. But now there can be no blinking at the fact that Bush bungled rather badly.
With confidence in the voting public, with unbounding determination to succeed, Michael Dukakis will gain the inevitable triumph, so help him Hannah.
