County officials Saturday will dedicate and open to the public the Ralph B. Clark Interpretive Center, a $1-million museum that will house and display fossil specimens found in the Ralph B. Clark Regional Park.

Displays in the 5,600-square-foot museum feature the skeleton of a saber tooth cat attacking a Pleistocene-era horse and the bones of a llama-like camel.

The park, named for the former member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, is at 8800 Rosecrans Ave., a quarter of a mile east of Beach Boulevard. The park straddles the cities of Fullerton and Buena Park.
