Searching for a Site for a New Orange County Jail
As a resident of Anaheim Hills, I bow my head in shame at the elitist attitudes of my anti-jail neighbors. Their petitions resulted in the Board of Supervisors denying the sale of property for a sorely needed school in Santa Ana.
Once again the “haves” undermine the “have nots” in this increasingly self-centered world we live in. Whatever happened to “love your neighbor as yourself”? I am convinced now, more than ever, that I made the right decision not to sign that petition despite great pressure to do so.
