Military Bomb Found at Ohio Shopping Center
A live 28-inch military bomb was discovered Thursday night near a department store in one of the area’s largest shopping centers, authorities reported Friday.
North Olmsted police said the bomb was found near a May Co. store at the Great Northern Shopping Center about 11 p.m., after an anonymous caller directed officials to the device.
Bomb squad officers cordoned off a large area of the shopping center and subsequently determined the device was live. It was later defused.
North Olmsted police detectives said they had no motive in the incident.
