Times Announces New Rates for Home Delivery
- Share via
Effective Oct. 17, the home-delivered price of The Times will be increased from $2.85 per week to $3.20 per week for daily and Sunday service. The rate for daily-only home delivery will increase from $2.35 to $2.70.
There will be no change in single-copy newsstand rates.
The new rates will go into effect in those portions of Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino counties in which subscribers are billed directly by The Times.
The increase for six-day and seven-day service reflects higher operating costs, especially newsprint costs for The Times, which have risen by $39 million over the last 12 months.
