A Nevada man guaranteed himself an annual income exceeding $500,000 for 20 years when he redeemed a California Lotto ticket worth $12.68 million, lottery officials said. Riley Oxford of Henderson, Nev., reported to a Riverside lottery office to claim the prize from the Sept. 21 Lotto 6/49 drawing, said lottery spokesman John Schade. Oxford will receive $507,200 a year for 20 years after taxes for picking the correct six numbers on a ticket he bought in Baker in San Bernardino County, Schade said. Oxford shunned publicity, and lottery officials were precluded from releasing any information other than his identity. Lotto players in Long Beach and Los Angeles who split a $5.9-million prize pool in Saturday’s drawing had yet to come forward, Schade said.
