Beverly Hills : Lawyer Receives Honor
Beverly Hills attorney Jay G. Foonberg has become the third person in the 12-year history of the Hispanic National Bar Assn. to be given an honorary membership. The other two recipients were U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and Robert Raven, president of the American Bar Assn.
Foonberg was recognized for his 25 years of work in helping Latinos better understand the American legal system through his appearances on Spanish-language radio and television. He also was noted for helping Latino attorneys with practice development and office management.
