Avery International Corp.’s third-quarter profit rose 34% from last year to $17.1 million. Sales totaled $382 million, up 4%. The Pasadena manufacturer of self-adhesive materials, labels, tapes, office products and specialty chemicals said the results reflect strong business performance and the benefits of the company’s reorganization program.
