Youth Steals Plane, Car in Long-Range Joy-Riding

ROCHESTER, N.H. —
An 18-year-old student pilot took a small airplane from an airport, landed it on a turnpike, then stole a car in his attempts to flee police early Saturday, authorities said. Douglas Ellison faces numerous charges, including illegal use of an airplane, auto theft and resisting arrest. He was released on bail, police said.
