More Women Executives Receive Outplacement Aid

PHILADELPHIA — The number of women management executives receiving outplacement counseling has more than doubled since 1985, a study of corporate middle managers by Right Associates, a leading career counseling organization shows.
In 1985, women made up 15% of all middle managers who received outplacement counseling by the organization. Last year, they represented 17%, and in the first half of 1988, they accounted for 24% of the total, the organization said.
These figures apparently reflect the increasing number of women in management ranks.
