Ray Bradbury and World War II--Too Quick a Study?

Share

Yes, Bradbury is (to use his own words)late in the game. It’s apparent that he has not watched the PBS series from its start some 20 weeks ago. If he had, he would have seen episode No. 2, “Distant War,” where the treaty between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany was mentioned and it was pointed out that the treaty allowed for the division of Poland between the two powers.

Hey, Ray, why don’t you come over to my place and we’ll watch the series from the start, have a few brews and split hairs over who was worse:Stalin because he murdered 20 million of his own people during the period of forced collectivization or Hitler because he murdered 20 million Russians, 5 million Jews from outside of Russia and 2.5 million non-Jewish Poles.
